A century after its founding, Zegna looks back to its roots to redefine Italian elegance for today.

It all starts with a thread, a cut, a vision. In 1910, high in the wooded hills of Trivero, Ermenegildo Zegna founded a textile house and sketched out a way of living. For him, fabric was never just material, and clothing was never just clothing. It was an extension of self, a way to carry oneself with dignity and purpose.
In Torino, at the private atelier of his tailor, Zegna would bring bolts of fabric woven on his own looms. There, the house&rsquo;s distinctive style took shape &mdash; refined and measured, precise but never stiff. One night, ahead of a performance at the Teatro Regio di Torino, he asked for something extraordinary: a suit cut from Vellus Aureum, the rarest and finest fiber ever produced. That suit became a signature, and the foundation of what would be known as the Torino style.

More than a hundred years later, Zegna reintroduces the silhouette for Fall/Winter 2025. The Torino suit is reborn with structured shoulders, wide lapels, rounded pockets &mdash; flap or patch &mdash; and a distinctive three-button sleeve. The top button sits slightly higher, echoing the marking of Route 232, the road that still runs through Zegna&rsquo;s legacy. Aside from being design details, they are signposts of a century of craft and quiet innovation.
At the center of the collection is a reimagined Vellus Aureum suit in ultra-soft flannel, cut with couture-level precision. Hand-finished seams, silk linings, and an internal structure that feels almost invisible give the piece an air of ease despite its mastery. It isn&rsquo;t just a suit. It&rsquo;s a practice on beauty, care, and taking the time to do things right.

For the campaign, Zegna naturally returned to Torino. Global ambassador Mads Mikkelsen wears the collection in images shot at the Teatro Regio and among the stillness of the surrounding Alps. He embodies the quiet confidence and rooted elegance at the heart of the Zegna man.
More than a backdrop, Torino is the soul of this story. It represents a kind of Italian style that doesn&rsquo;t shout, but reveals itself in the details: the cut of a lapel, the ritual of a late espresso, the rhythm of a life lived with intention.
At Zegna, style is never just appearance. It&rsquo;s memory, emotion, and precision. The house redefines what a suit can mean.
