These are the shows that stood out from our time at Fashion Week.

Fashion month can be overwhelming to think about as a whole, but sometimes there are clear winners that just happen to have staying power in our minds. Shows aren&rsquo;t only held to showcase the clothes and ideas behind them, after all. They&rsquo;re a ticket to get talked about, drum up hype around the brand and build recall. Let's see which of these names managed to do just that this Spring/Summer 2025 season.

As the consummate showman and Louis Vuitton&rsquo;s men&rsquo;s creative director, Pharrell always knows how to elicit a reaction even before sending his first look down the runway. No one can compare to how Louis Vuitton made the best use of La Maison de l'UNESCO&mdash;yes, as in the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization&rsquo;s HQ in Paris. The sprawling property already features a massive cage globe&mdash;think UN logo&mdash;and to make it even more Vuitton, the team somehow managed to carve its Damier pattern onto the lawn. Models followed the natural grid pattern of the garden to give viewers multiple opportunities to take in the looks. Not only was it the best show space, Louis Vuitton Men&rsquo;s collection might as well be the best in show.

Best Showspace: Louis Vuitton

When brands put as much thought into casting their front row as the models walking down their runway, it not only draws more eyes, but also communicates a clearer perspective of its vision. This season, we&rsquo;re recognising Prada for bringing together a truly international mix that not only reflects a global point of view, but also captures our fascinations with Asia.&nbsp;
Top-billing brand ambassadors include Jaehyun of NCT, Sana Minatozaki of Twice, Win Metawin of Thai BL fame, breakout model-turned-actor Kentaro Sakaguchi and Tan Jian Ci of Chinese idol group M.I.C. Actors Louis Partridge and Damson Idris also turned up in the brand&rsquo;s tailoring and turned-on-its-head romanticism.
The laundry list of high-wattage celebs-in-attendance doesn&rsquo;t end there. Spotted: Joe Alwyn, Dave, Jonah Hauer-King, Evan Peters, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Mahmood, Byeon Woo-seok, David Oyelowo, Matt Bomer, Theaster Gates, Jordan Wolfson, Venus Williams, Mengyu Shen, Menglu Shen, Pu Wei, Vinnie Hacker, Eric Chou, Thomas Demand and Reilly Opelka.

Best Front Row: Prada

Let&rsquo;s face it, when it comes to grooming, men&rsquo;s shows don&rsquo;t really have much to play with, so it&rsquo;s even more impactful when a brand is able to make a standout image without solely relying on the models&rsquo; face cards. We say Loewe and Jonathan Anderson were able to do just that by slicking their models&rsquo; hair back and giving them pheasant feathers for bangs. Looks ranged from a lone feather&mdash;think Christopher Reeves as Superman&mdash;to a full fringe, almost obscuring the wearer&rsquo;s face entirely. Others were given an extra luxe touch with gold-foiled feathers. This directional take on a standard hairstyle elevated it to a strikingly beautiful image ripe for sharing on social media.

Best Grooming: Loewe

The last one still in fashion from the Antwerp Six, Dries Van Noten has finally hung up his hat. This season was his last show as the chief creative officer for his eponymous label, which has maintained its independence for over three decades before it was sold to Puig a few years back. This move is joined by his life partner Patrick Vangheluwe, who is also stepping down as the creative director of the brand.
But it&rsquo;s not exactly the end. It&rsquo;s not difficult to imagine Van Noten, like his peers, devoting himself to a different artform. His massive garden is, of course, top of mind. As for the brand, he will stay on as an adviser, with more involvement in the cosmetics and fragrance lines, as well as store design.

Best Final Bow: Dries Van Noten

Long-time Gucci collaborator Mark Ronson was at it again this season with tracks from Jamie xx, The Kills, David Bowie and Catnapp. The show opened with a powerful beat and synths that were reminiscent of Gossip Girl era musical scoring. The strong bass emphasised the clean lines and bold colours of creative director Sabato De Sarno&rsquo;s vision and the architecture of Triennale Milano. Then the music relaxed into a beach lounge vibe before completely giving way to peppy &ldquo;Modern Love&rdquo; towards the finale.

Best Soundtrack: Gucci

When it comes to casting, Rick Owens has always been different, but this season, he cast over 200 fashion students to be part of his show (and his atelier). This tipped the scales and led to a more inclusive show across race and body types&mdash;a rarity in this post-Ozempic world. The models not only walked the show in various formations like a step dance team decked out in either post-apocalyptic celestial garb or space exploration-ready uniforms, but in true Owens fashion, displayed various athletic and gymnastic abilities as well. A few models clung on to a humungous steel sculpture that resembled a very minimalist Christmas tree (or an outline of a traffic cone) while a handful more literally carried the entire performance. Overall, the runway felt more like a procession, and for one like Rick Owens, the analogy is apt.

Best Casting: Rick Owens

This headline reads Valentino, but maybe the award should actually be given to its current creative director Alessandro Michele. Without warning, the brand released Michele&rsquo;s debut online, a 171-look strong collection, amidst the men&rsquo;s shows, and surprisingly&mdash;or given Michele&rsquo;s track record at his former employer, to no one&rsquo;s surprise&mdash;it instantly became one of the most talked-about shows. Thanks to Michele&rsquo;s styling cues, it&rsquo;s almost as if our minds have been wiped clean of Pink PP, Pierpaolo Piccioli&rsquo;s cheekily named pink. Valentino, however, eventually staged a runway show that trimmed Michele&rsquo;s combined vision for both men and women down to a relatively concise 81 looks.
