Molly Goddard's Romantic Dolls at London Fashion Week
At London Fashion Week the romantic looks of the British designer, who debuts her first men's collection, combines material contrasts and fluorescent colors, telling us a contemporary fairy tale.
Molly Goddard has chosen, for the third time, the spacious Seymour Leisure Center as a catwalk for her Spring Summer 2023 collection show during London Fashion Week. The light that came in profusion from the glass vault of the gym illuminated the looks of the British designer who played with amplitudes using contrasting materials, which give a sumptuous yet imperceptible aspect to the silhouettes of the garments.

There are many looks that feature a layer of opaque tulle worn over other garments, bringing to mind a contemporary fairy tale. Goddard's romantic dolls mix flounces, gathered fabrics, fluorescent colors, and her label's signature Twinky print, characters that we find as a trait d'union between women's and men's clothing, by which she shows off tailored garments with reduced proportions, hooded sweatshirts, and high-waisted bomber jackets.
