The legendary graffiti artist reunites with NIGO for a collection rooted in street culture and bold reinvention.

For NIGO, Kenzo&rsquo;s creative director, Futura 2000 isn&rsquo;t just a longtime friend&mdash;he&rsquo;s a &ldquo;former colleague&rdquo; from collaborative projects that date back to &ldquo;the last century,&rdquo; as the New York graffiti icon puts it. Their shared streetwear origins, overlapping inspirations, and enduring friendship set the stage for a new creative chapter: the Kenzo Fall/Winter 2025 collection, a wardrobe charged with contemporary energy and a pioneering spirit.
In preparation for the season, NIGO invited Futura 2000 to rework Kenzo&rsquo;s signature Boke flower motif with his own distinctive touch. The result is a transformed camellia in full bloom, infused with the bold strokes of one of graffiti&rsquo;s most influential names. The artist&rsquo;s reinterpretation brings a fresh vibrancy to Kenzo&rsquo;s warm, layered winter pieces.

Futura 2000 has a long-standing connection to street fashion, having brought his artwork to collections from major brands like Marc Jacobs&mdash;and now, Kenzo. His creative synergy with NIGO is unmistakable, both men deeply rooted in street culture and adept at translating it into fashion.
Among the collection&rsquo;s standout elements is Futura&rsquo;s signature atomic motif: concentric electrons orbiting a nucleus, radiating a sharp, modern energy across wide-leg trousers, blousons, and oversized tie-dye hooded parkas.
The Kenzo staples under NIGO&rsquo;s tenure&mdash;like the Boke-printed tote&mdash;also get the Futura treatment, layered with his unmistakable graphic sensibility. Even the Kenzo logo is reimagined, adopting angular, typography-driven lines that appear on sweatshirts and beanies. The collection&rsquo;s letterman jackets embrace FW25&rsquo;s minimalist shift, stripping away their usual heavy chest detailing in favor of camellias blooming along sleek leather sleeves, lending a refined yet street-ready edge.

Loungewear-inspired pieces carry light-scattering illusion prints, evoking an atomic-scale view of space. Alongside jerseys, premium knits, windbreakers, and bomber jackets, the collection offers endless mix-and-match potential&mdash;blending the raw spirit of American streetwear with the meticulous craftsmanship of France and Japan.
The Kenzo x Futura 2000 collection is now available at Kenzo boutiques worldwide ahead of the Fall/Winter 2025 season.
