JACQUEMUS' LA MONTAGNE&nbsp;FALL/WINTER 2021 MEN'S WOMEN COLLECTION

After the fields of lavender, wheat, and the sea, <a href="https://www.lofficielitalia.com/fashion-week/jacquemus-sfilata-provenza-spring-summer-2020" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jacquemus</a> takes us to the mountains. <a href="https://www.instagram.com/jacquemus/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Simon Porte Jacquemus'</a> La Montagne show brings a Fall/Winter 2021 men's and women's collections to the catwalk with a see-now-buy-now concept. In a hilly setting that recalls a stereotypical synthesis of the mountain landscape, the French designer presents his new mountain-inspired creations. "For this collection, after such a special year, I wanted to bring people together and share a fashion moment together," says Jacquemus. "I wanted the set to be minimal and sharp, recreating an artistic and abstract mountain that would portray the inspiration of the collection." Only a few guests attended the live show but a fanbase of 3.5 million connected in streaming from his Instagram profile to follow the show.

On <a href="https://www.instagram.com/jacquemus/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jacquemus' Instagram</a> profile, after the announcement of the new fashion show and the title of the "La Montagne" collection, had released a series of <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CQG0GeusTeh/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">posts with some still life</a> of the accessories of the new collection. The caption read: "For this time, the collection will be available for purchase right after the show, with more releases to follow 😊 See you soon! Love , Simon" From this series of posts on Instagram, the show culminated with <a href="https://www.lofficielitalia.com/moda/tendenze-colori-primavera-estate-2021" target="_blank" rel="noopener">energetic colors</a> starting from light blue and orange to neon yellow, intense red, fuchsia, lime, white, black, cream, and brown. The French designer proposed a refresh of mountain-wear clothing. Dresses reveal parts of the body and necklines rolled up as if they were sleeping bags. Jackets, shirts, and tops were cropped above the waist for both men and women.
