Minimalism met mythology as COS unveiled its Spring/Summer 2025 collection within the walls of Athens&rsquo; Dionyssomarble Quarry&mdash;a site carved from the same marble used to build the Parthenon. It marked the brand&rsquo;s first show in the Greek capital, and the setting was anything but ordinary.
The 35-look collection leaned into contrasts&mdash;strength and softness, structure and fluidity&mdash;balancing sculptural precision with an unexpected lightness. Models moved in and out of the space, descending a steel staircase before looping around the quarry floor, echoing the rhythm of the garments they wore.
For womenswear, COS drew from Renaissance art and draping traditions to deliver silhouettes that were effortless. There were asymmetric dresses twisted on the stand, sheer layers revealing subtle flashes of skin, and tailoring that took on a deconstructed elegance. While shoes stayed understated: suede mules, minimalist flats, and knitted sock boots.
Menswear leaned into refined utility with sleeveless tailoring and relaxed silk sets. Lightweight leather jackets and softly ribbed layers offered dimension, finished off with contemporary sandals and mule loafers that straddled the line between casual and elevated.
A marbled print made using flower buds pressed against a lens added a softness that channeled Renaissance-era romanticism. The palette reflected the quarry&rsquo;s natural surroundings: off-white, brown, and terracotta warmed the collection, while muted blues and deep navy added depth.
