She Talks Asia, a women empowerment platform, is thrilled to announce its partnership with Lazada Philippines for an inspiring event dedicated to female entrepreneurs. As the leading e-commerce platform, Lazada is committed to supporting local MSMEs, empowering Filipina entrepreneurs, and nurturing young creative talent.
Titled "The Mentorship Mindset," this marks She Talks Asia's first Tribe Meet-Up of the year. Held last April 27, 2024, the event equipped participants with the tools and wisdom necessary to foster a culture of mentorship and intergenerational knowledge sharing within their businesses. The initiative is one of many ongoing programs under PiliPino by Lazada&mdash;a campaign that aims to celebrate and uplift Filipino culture, artistry and entrepreneurship, not just through platform and tools but also by championing the country&rsquo;s local creative economy as a whole.

The event showcased a lineup of notable business mentors, including a majority of Lazada Sellers, each sharing their rich experience and insights. Jackie Ca&ntilde;iza, a Certified Transformational Coach and Founder of Haraya Coaching, explored the subtleties of coaching and the importance of creating safe spaces. Cleo Loque, who started Hiraya Pilipina at just 15 years old, shared her journey of sustaining a business against the odds, inspiring young entrepreneurs to pursue their dreams with determination. Kristine Andaya, founder of Kanna Beauty, offered her expertise on scaling businesses in the e-commerce sector, emphasizing growth, branding, and smart financial decisions. Veronica Eala Garcia, Co-Founder of Five Beauty, discussed maximizing online platforms for marketing and business growth, combining science-backed skincare with high-performance color cosmetics.
The event was moderated by Rizza Lana, a multifaceted entrepreneur who heads Lana PH, Mink PH, and Talaala, and has experience as a restaurateur and resort owner. Apart from panel discussion outlining concrete strategies on overcoming failures, swift execution, and building the right team, participants also got to seek specific advice directly from the speakers during the breakout sessions, and got their professional headshots taken as part of the event, adding further value to their experience.
