The actor says he's learning a lot just by watching his co-star work.

After eight years away from teleseryes, James Reid is back to primetime with Someone, Someday. While the project marks a major return for the actor, musician, and entrepreneur, one of the biggest surprises of the experience has been working alongside Kathryn Bernardo.
Speaking to <a href="https://preview.lofficielph.com/hommes/james-reid-interview-2026" target="_blank" rel="noopener">L’Officiel Hommes Philippines</a>, Reid reflected on returning to television and the people he's met along the way. When asked about working with Bernardo and Maja Salvador, he admitted that one co-star in particular has left a lasting impression.
"The shocking experience and biggest change for me has been working with Kathryn," Reid says. "She is incredibly down-to-earth and grounded. She's super kind to everyone on set and so hands-on with the script. I'm learning a lot from just watching her work."
The praise comes as Someone, Someday brings together some of Philippine entertainment's biggest names. The series also marks a significant moment for everyone involved, including directors Chad Vidanes and Dolly Dulu. For Reid, returning to Dreamscape has felt familiar, as his last teleserye was also produced by the company.
While Bernardo's professionalism stood out to him, Reid says the atmosphere on set has been equally rewarding thanks to his friendship with Salvador. "And Maja, of course, has so much experience, but she's also just a great friend," he says. "It makes the set totally fun."
